U.S. DOE Announces Investment in LanzaTech
   

November 19, 2019 – At the Advanced Bioenergy Leadership Conference (ABLCNext2019) the Energy Department announced a $14 million investment in LanzaTech’s demonstration-scale integrated biorefinery in Soperton, GA. This is a continuation of a fiscal year 2015 funding opportunity announcement. Details are still being negotiated, but the funding will be used for LanzaTech to continue to design, construct, and operate and integrated demonstration-scale biorefinery that will use industrial waste gases and other gas sources to produce up to 3 million gallons of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and low-carbon diesel fuels.
