18 July 2019 – Delta has announced it will take 20 carbon-neutral aircraft deliveries from Airbus’ Mobile, AL facility. Using sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and carbon offsets in coordination with Air BP. The first of these flights flew last week from Mobile to Kansas City where final preparations were conducted before moving the new A321 into domestic service. This is the latest in Delta’s sustainability efforts as they continue to strive toward the goal of reducing emissions by 50% by 2050.
