BSCR Standards are Now Official in Canada

July 13, 2021 — The Biomass Supply Chain Risk standards (BSCR) are an advancement for assessing biomass feedstock risk. They aim to de-risk investments in biofuels. There are over 200 validated risk factors and indicators for biomass supply chain systems that analyze the benefits and risks. CSA Group, a global organization that is a leader in standards development and testing, has certified these standards in Canada. The group says adopting the BSCR standards will reduce the level of uncertainty and unlock development potential in the bio-economy.

The BSCR Standards can be found here.
