SkyNRG Launches “Board Now” Sustainability Initiative

October 18, 2019 – Earlier this month, SkyNRG launched a new sustainability initiative, Board Now. The program will allow companies to reduce their business air travel emissions while contributing to the development of a new sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production facility. By signing up, organizations will commit to the purchase of SAF for a period of five years. Investments made through Board Now will be used by SkyNRG to cover the price difference between SAF and conventional jet fuel. The renewable fuel will be produced by Europe’s first dedicated SAF production plant in the Netherlands that has an annual capacity of 100,000 tons of SAF. PwC and Skyscanner are among the first companies to have signed up for the program.
